White Water Rafting
Two hours on an Olympic-style rafting course near Prague, six people plus an instructor per raft, beer and a sandwich after.
Pick-up in Prague at 14:30; 45 minutes later you are at the rafting centre in Veltrusy. Half an hour of safety briefing and kitting up (neoprene, boots, dry top, buoyancy aid, helmet, paddle), then you are on the water.
From 16:00 to 18:00 you run the artificial rapids. Six people and a certified instructor per raft, so first-timers are fine. Then showers, a beer and a sandwich, and the bus heads back around 19:00.
Runs all year round with dry suits in winter. Bring only a towel and swimwear.
