Car Smash
Car smash: take a sledgehammer and a bat to a scrap car in full protective gear. Leave the stress on the metal, not on your mates.
A stripped-down scrap car is waiting for demolition. You put on a helmet, visor, gloves and overalls, pick up a sledgehammer or a bat, and go at the bodywork. Glass, bonnet, doors — all fair game.
You take turns in small groups while the rest cheer and film. It is loud, sweaty and oddly calming. The glass is secured against shards and an instructor keeps it safe.
The car is headed for scrap, so there is no need to hold back. A good way to blow off steam before the wedding or after a rough week.
